A home for contemporary art

The Ludwig Forum is a house for contemporary art. From American Pop Art, art from the 80s and 90s to the latest tendencies, the collections, temporary group and solo exhibitions, events and educational activities give a broad overview of art today.

6,000 square meters on three floors and a garden of 5,000 square meters offer plenty of space. The collection features many prominent pieces that no art encyclopedia fails to mention such as, for example, the photorealistic painting “Medici” by Franz Gertsch or the so-called “Supermarket Lady” by the American sculptor Duane Hanson.
