Wiebke Wiesner (curatorial assistant) guides visitors through the current exhibition KI$$ KI$$, the first institutional survey exhibition of Taiwanese-American artist and filmmaker Shu Lea Cheang (b. 1954). Since the 1990s, her films, installations, and performances, which often develop over years, have challenged and transformed our understanding of digital technologies. Starting with her groundbreaking debut film Fresh Kill (1994), Cheang brings together works from the past three decades at the Ludwig Forum and places them in an updated context.

At 7.15pm after the guided tour, we will present Shu Lea Cheang’s film Fresh Kill (venue: Space, Ludwig Forum). You can participate in both events consecutively or separately.
