Coinciding with this summer’s World Equestrian Games in Aachen, the Ludwig Forum presents two short films, projected at scale in the museum’s central hall: Centaur (2020), a film by German-Iranian artist and filmmaker Yalda Afsah (b. 1983), and Pferde über Wiese [Horses Across Meadowlands] (2013) by Swiss artist duo Marianne Halter (b. 1970) & Mario Marchisella (b. 1972). On the opening day at 3 pm, we warmly invite you to a discussion between the artists and curator Esther Boehle (in German) at the Ludwig Forum.
