From 23 to 28 June 2026, Colombian artist Oscar Murillo invites people of all ages to take part in a multi-day collective drawing session in the courtyard of the Ludwig Forum.
The Social Mapping project is a celebration of collective spirit anchored by the exercise of drawing and mark-making. Participants can use pens, pencils, crayons, and biros to fill a over 10 metres long canvas.
The collaborative artwork will subsequently become part of Oscar Murillo’s current exhibition Collective Osmosis at DAS MINSK in Potsdam (14 March–9 August 2026). Museums from all German federal states are taking part in the initiative.
This event is free to attend. All canvas and drawing materials will be provided.
For further information on the exhibition at DAS MINSK, please refer to the museum’s website. The list of participating institutions in all federal german states is published here.
